Since Bookstore Romance Day was first announced last year, we heard from a number of children's booksellers that they wanted to join in the fun, but weren't always sure how to do so. Most of them found a way, but we wanted to be very conscious this year of including more Young Adult and Middle Grade fiction in our celebrations.

Therefore, it gives us great pleasure to announce that Meg Cabot has done us the honor of agreeing to serve as the Bookstore Romance Day Ambassador for 2020. From The Princess Diaries to Little Bridge Island, Meg's writing career has provided HEA's for readers from 10 to 110 and we can't think of anyone who better exemplifies the all ages appeal of a Happily Ever After.

To celebrate our new Ambassador, the Bookstore Romance Day Book Club will be reading The Princess Diaries (which is celebrating TWENTY years this year) and No Judgments, the first in Meg's Little Bridge Island series. (The second Little Bridge novel, No Offense, will be publishing on August 11, just in time for Bookstore Romance Day on August 15.)
