In an effort to build and strengthen the relationship between independent bookstores and the Romance community, we launched the very first Bookstore Romance Day on August 17th, 2019 The next Bookstore Romance Day is scheduled for August 19, 2023 and we’re rolling out some other initiatives in the intervening months to keep the momentum going. To make our event and projects successful for everyone involved, we need to have some basic operating costs covered, including web hosting, graphic design, postage and expenses that are bound to arise that we have not foreseen.

In the coming months and years, we are also hoping to be able to send members of our organizing committee to various book-related trade shows and conventions to further our outreach effort.
