In an effort to build and strengthen the relationship between independent bookstores and the Romance community, we are preparing to launch the very first Bookstore Romance Day on August 17th. To make our event successful for everyone involved, we need to have some basic operating costs covered, including web hosting, graphic design, postage and expenses that are bound to arise that we have not foreseen.
In the coming months and years, we are also hoping to be able to send members of our organizing committee to various book-related trade shows and conventions to further our outreach effort.
