• The Book Wyrm in Douglasville, Georgia is offering a “Second Chance at Love”! Think ‘blind date with a book’ but in a bag! Their book bags will be filled with second hand books with different themes and tropes and they are also planning a Tea Party with beverages and finger foods.
• If you’re in Lincoln, Illinois Ink & Imprint Books will be hosting five authors for a meet-and-greet and book signing, plus sales, giveaways, and sweet treats all day!
• If you’re in or around Austin, Texas BookWoman is offering sweet treats and great deals on slightly older titles from popular romance authors. They’ll also be showcasing a specially curated collection of Sapphic romance titles from decades past.
• Readers in Fayetteville, North Carolina should stop by Bound & Vine for a Bellini Bar, Blind Date With a Book, Romance activities, and Romance authors in-store all day long.
• Among the Pages in Durant, Oklahoma is celebrating Bookstore Romance Day with the grand opening of their permanent bricks-and-mortar location! Stop on by and wish them well in their transition from pop-up to permanent storefront.
• The Cozy Book Nook and Swoon Books & Wine in Dayton, Ohio are teaming up for a mini bookstore crawl, with wine at Swoon and chocolate truffles at The Cozy Book Nook.
• The Fox & The Fable mobile bookstore is going to the farm! The bookstore will be at The Farmacy Farmstand in Newark, Illinois. Readers will receive 10% off all new Romance titles, pre-loved Romance books will only be $6, and everyone who purchases a book will also get $5 off  a bouquet from the farmstand.
• In Seattle, Washington, Swoon City will be hosting a conversation with Jaysea Lynn (author of For Whom the Belle Tolls and the forthcoming The Belles of Wrath) in conversation with Devrie Brynn Donalson (author of The Art of Burning Heather), followed by a book signing. 
• The Book Bin in Corvallis, Oregon is doing themed TBR Jars, a romance scavenger hunt and  bingo sheet, as well as romance trope Q&A and glittery drinks!
• Unrequited Bookstore in Brooklyn, New York will be doing a pop-up at Talea Brewing in Cobble Hill. Talea is a woman-owned brewery and graciously hosting them for the day. They will have a wide inventory, but also be conducting raffles and a prize wheel for opportunity to win ARCs, signed books, free drinks and more! They’ll also be offering discounts on their entire inventory.

• Flyleaf in Grosse Pointe, Michigan is also a bar and retail wine shop, so they’ll not only be offering 20% off all Romance titles, but will be offering a themed cocktail special all day and Date Night In (if you purchase a romance book and a bottle of wine, you get 25% off both).
• More fun in Portland, Oregon! Bookstore Romance Day happens to be on the same day as Annie Bloom’s Books neighborhood’s 100-year-old street fair, Multnomah Days, so they’re combining the two! They’ll have a booth directly outside their shop on the street fair route, where they’ll host theirauthor meet and greets (11am-12pm: Erin Connor and Samantha Allen; 1pm-2pm: Lexi LaFleur Brown and Samantha Saldivar), along with a raffle station and Blind Dates With an ARC (free with each and every romance book purchase). Multnomah Days features musical acts, a community parade, an art fair, an auto show, food carts, and over 170 vendor booths. Come for Bookstore Romance Day and stay for the street fair, or come to the street fair and end up celebrating Bookstore Romance Day!
• At {pages}: a bookstore in Manhattan Beach, California, it’s Romance trope BINGO with prizes! They’ve replaced numbers and letters with book tropes and titles and will have three romance authors as BINGO callers. • Wanderlust Mobile Bookstore in Madison, Wisconsin iscelebrating our very first Bookstore Romance Day by throwing a full block party in partnership with Giant Jones Brewing and Old Sugar Distillery. On Saturday, August 15th from 3–7pm, they’ll have six local Wisconsin romance authors on hand to sign books; ten Wisconsin makers and vendors; craft beer; handcrafted spirits; and all the bookish energy you’d expect from a bus full of romance novels.
• Ember & Ink Bookshop in Hermosa Beach, California has planned some raffles and giveaways, a big discount on store items, a pop up flower bouquet vendor, a pop up bag/kindle charm vendor, and some local romance authors will be stopping by.
• From 10 AM until noon, ou can meet author Kaylin Gensic at Meander Bookshop in Paducah, Kentucky and get signed copies of any of her books. At 2 PM, the celebration continues with book-themed crafts: book edge painting with Make Studio and book origami with Bluegrass & Bookends. Then at 3 PM, Kalyn sits down with Meander Bookshop owner Sarah Stewart Holland for a conversation about her writing journey, her inspiration, and audience Q&A. All day long, Pipers will be pouring specialty drinks inspired by favorite romance tropes.
• At Newnan Book Co. in Newnan, Georgia they’ll have a Love Letter Scanvenger Hunt with prizes and our favorite quotes hidden throughout the day. There will also be Insta Love Flash Trivia (attendees will be paired in a Fated Mates situation!) and an all-day Why Choose Sale where you buy one get one romance novel 50% off!
• Story Keeper in Marietta, Pennsylvania is offering BOGO on all romance books & blind dates and a sale cart with romance books as well. 
• The Silver Unicorn Bookshop in Acton, Massachusetts will be hosting a community Romance book swap so you can trade out your already=reads for new-to-yous.
• In Cambridge, Massachusetts, Lovestruck Books & Cafe will be hosting an all-day Bookstore Romance Day Bash. The event is free to attend, but you need to reserve your spot. You can register and get all the details here.

• If you’re near Decatur, Georgia, join the Charis Queer Romance Book Club for an afternoon of crafts & camaraderie in celebration of Bookstore Romance Day! This event is hosted by the Queer Romance Book Club but is open to all. You can find more details here.
• Got a sweet tooth? Check out Sweet Reads Society in Newton Falls, Ohio.  They’vecreated a special Book Boyfriend Stuffed Cookie Menu inspired by some of their favorites. To make the day even more memorable, every customer who purchases a book will receive a free themed sticker and a chance to Spin to Win exclusive prizes with their book purchase. The celebration doesn’t stop when the store closes! In the evening, we’re hosting an 18+ After Dark Romance Roulette event, where ticket holders will enjoy a fun, interactive romance-themed experience filled with surprises and bookish fun.
• At the Katonah Reading Room in Katonah, New York , they have invited multiple authors in for a Romance Book Fair—they will selling their books and signing in the Reading Room’s “Speakeasy” event space. 
• The day is packed at Lakeside Bookshop in Lake Saint Louis, Missouri. They are hosting the local Romance writing duo known as Nicole Linette. They’ll also have special Romance Reader tote bags free for the first 20 people who make a purchase, a community coloring canvas made by a local artist Danielle from Limefish studio, 20% off romance blind dates with a book (while supplies last), a attoo and friendship bracelet station, and a scavenger hunt to Find the Hidden Heart in the store for a free paperback.
• Lala Books in Lowell, Massachesetts will be celebrating on August 22 and has themed all of their events around favorite Romance tropes. During Slow Burn they’ll have a word unscramble, word search and cross word puzzles. During Forced Proximity the audience will be able to unleash their inner artist and create their perfect bookish partner or write letters to their loves. Things kick up in Enemies to Lovers where folks can participate in our scavenger hunt! They will be closing things out with Second Chance Romance with Bingo and a game of Kahoot!
• The Bookies in Denver, Colorado is hosting a Pitch-a-Friend dating event (Book Lovers Edition!) with a local organization. 4-8 people will pitch their hottie, single book-loving friends as great dating potential. Anyone 21+ can attend for free to mingle and watch the presentations.
• This year local romance authors will join The Garden District Book Shop in New Orleans, Louisiana as “Romance Concierges”for Bookstore Romance Day! Throughout the day a rotation of local romance authors will “guest star” alongside our booksellers. Customers will receive stellar recommendations, have the opportunity to get their books signed, and get some one-on-one time with their favorite local authors. They’re also offering various purchase incentives, including free books!
